Reeva Scarf

I love this scarf so much, my pictures don't do much justice on how pretty this scarf is. Adding to its beauty is the Lion Brand Mandala Yarn, this yarn sure is made for scarves.

This is so easy to make, anyone can make this one. I always try to make all my patterns easy, I want to use simple and basic stitches that any beginner can make. It really doesn't require a mad scientist to make beautiful crochet creations. Most of the time the basic stitches, when combined together, would create a very beautiful pattern. Give this scarf a try and won't regret it.

Materials:
  • Lion Brand Mandala ( Genie)
  • I/5.5mm Crochet Hook
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
  • Pompom Maker (optional)

Stitches Used:
  • CH(s) – Chain(s)
  • SC – Single Crochet
  • TC – Triple/Treble Crochet

Notes:
  • Foundation CHs are multiples of 2 plus 1 CH plus returning CH. (28+1+1)
  • ALWAYS end the row with a SC.

Instructions
Row1.  CH 30, SC in the 2nd CH from the hook and in all the stitches across. CH 1 and turn (29 SC)

Row2.   SC in the first stitch, * TC in the next stitch, and SC in the next.*  Repeat until the end, ending with SC into the last stitch.  CH 1 and turn. (14 TC, 15 SC)

Row3. SC in the first 2 stitches, * TC in the next stitch, and SC in the next.*  Repeat until the end ending with SC into the last 2 stitches. CH 1 and turn.  (13 TC and 16 SC)

Repeat Row 2 and 3 alternately until you reach your desired length. I only used up one ball of Mandala yarn and the Scarf measures 8 x 60 inches.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.
