Mother's day is just around the corner. So before the Month of May starts I'll share is beautiful Clutch Bag so perfect for Mother's Day. I made this out of the scrap yarns, and since they are different types of yarn, the end result varies in sizes. But most are in Red Heart Super Saver and those made out of RHSS end up in the size, 9x5 inch.
The stitches are simple and easy to make, a combination of Front/back Post-Single Crochets and Double crochets. It creates a beautiful textured finished. You can add a sling to it if you want it to be a sling bag or a handbag.
I added a zipper to it also for closure. I hand stitched the zipper because every time I run my crochet items in the sewing machine it gets destroyed, so I painstakingly sew them by hand. Literally, in PAIN, I got poke by the needle so many times. But a zipper is what it needs so a zipper it gets! Just for the love of my craft!
Most of the yarns I used are Red Heart Super Saver and a few RH with love. But I could not remember the color anymore for these are scraps. I lost all the tags. You can experiment with colors with this one. You can even make this in one color only.
