Quick and Easy Cellphone Purse

Who else is hustling to finish some projects for the Christmas, and only to find out you missed out someone?... You can add this Cellphone Purse for your Last Minute Gift Ideas, you can do this one in a hustle.

This Pattern is very versatile also if you decide to add more chains to your Foundation Chains then you'll end up with a Purse big enough to bring to your Christmas Parties. Plus this one look elegant also with the stitches used.

Materials:

  • Any Medium Yarn # 4 ( I used Red Heart Super Saver)
  • H/5.00mm Crochet Hook
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Stitch Marker
  • Scissors
  • Wooden Buttons

Stitches/Abbreviations Used:

  • CH(s) – Chain(s)
  • SC – Single Crochet
  • DC – Double Crochet
  • SC dec – Single Crochet Decrease

Notes:

  • The Foundation CHs is a multiple of 2 +1+1

Instructions
Row 1. CH 26, SC into the 2nd CH from the hook and unto each CH until the end. CH 1 and turn. (25SC)

Row2. SC  and DC into the first stitch. *Skip a stitch, SC and DC into the next stitch.* Repeat until the end. SC into the last CH. CH 1 and Turn.

Row3- 22. Repeat Row 2. At Row 22 put a marker in each side.

 Row 23. Repeat Row 2.

Row 24. SC dec, SC and DC in the next stitch. Skip a stitch, SC, and DC into the next stitch.* Repeat until the end. SC into the last CH. CH 1 and Turn.

Row 25. SC dec, SC and DC in the next stitch. Skip a stitch, SC, and DC into the next stitch.* Repeat until the last 3 stitches, skip a stitch then SC dec. CH1 and Turn.

Row 26 – 30. Repeat Row 25. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Now fold your work crosswise, with the first Row aligned with the stitch markers. Then include that 1st row in the stitch marker.

Attached your yarn at the lower left end of your pouch, with the back of your pouch facing you. Refer to the picture below. Then Stitch the sides together using the Reversed SC/Crab Stitch all the way to the opposite end.

Fasten off and weave in all ends. Attach your buttons, no need to make a button hole, just align the button into the skipped stitched of the rows.
