I love this class. I bought this class months ago and I did not regret I did it. The instructions are so clear and so easy to make. When you see the stitches you would really thought that it is so hard to do, but then with this class it makes all easy.
And here is what I made from watching and going along the class. I love my pillow. It's quite small for a throw pillow because I use a smaller yarn and a smaller hook. I bought the yarn locally and I used a G hook or 4.0mm.
For your information this is only one pillow. Just different in every side.
And good news because it is on sale right now at Craftsy. So go ahead and avail of the sale before it ends. You won't regret. I promise!.
So that's it. I hope you all learn something and enjoy this
post. If you have any questions, comments or suggestion just leave a message on
the comment box and I will gladly answer them. Thank you and God bless!

Man is to cultivate the tenderness and compassion of Christ; he is not to separate himself from the sorrowing, afflicted, needy, and distressed. - ST June 13, 1892
Halloween is so fast approaching. I don't really make any decors for Halloween, we don't even celebrate Halloween. But there are so many beautiful and colorfyl designs for Halloween around the internet these days. And wreaths are my personal favorites. And I only find a few of them that are free pattern. Here are what I've found so far.
Along Came A Spider Wreath by Olives and Okra. It's so neat and easy. Halloweens are mostly spiders. So this one features only spiders.
Halloween Wreath by Lion Brand. So easy and simple. You need to make an account first before you can download the free pattern.
Halloween Wreath by My Merry Messy Life. I like the word BOO! And a touch of black sunflowers.
Halloween Bat Wreath by Repeat Crafter Me. She makes so many beautiful wreaths. Wreath for every occasion of the year. And this time not only one BUT two wreath for the Halloween.
Halloween Black Cat Wreath by Repeat Crager Me. This is less creeper than the others because of the cut cat. Although it is black but it is still cute.
That sums up all the Halloween wreath I found around the web. It's not too late to make one this time. All this pattern are so easy to make you can do it in a day.
So that's it. I hope you all learn something and enjoy this
post. If you have any questions, comments or suggestion just leave a message on
the comment box and I will gladly answer them. Thank you and God bless!

God longs to have you reach after Him by faith. He longs to have you expect great things from Him. - ChS 262
This a very easy pattern. Good for beginners to practice their crocheting skills. This is really very easy and also so handy. Here I made 3 sizes of beanie. For my husband (adult), my eldest (child- grade school) and my youngest ( toddler-preschooler). It's so easy to adjust the sizes also. I am currently making for my own (for women) so that all four of us has each one.
Pattern here is made for an adult. There are notes along the way for a toddler and a preschooler to a child.
Materials:
Red Heart Soft in 2 Contrasting Colors ( Cream & Royal Blue)
I /5.5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Size
Toddler to Adult Size
Stitches used:
sl st - slip stitch
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
fpdc - front post double crochet
bpdc - back post double crochet
Instructions:
R1. Using your lighter color of yarn (cream), make a magic ring and dc 12 into the ring. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2.
R2. Dc 2 in each stitches around. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2.
R3.Dc in first stitch, dc 2 in next stitch. Repeat this pattern all the way around. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2.
R4. Dc 1 in each 2 stitches, then dc 2 in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern all the way around. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2. (
R5. Dc 1 in each 3 stitches, then dc 2 in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern all the way around. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2. If you are making one for a toddler just stop up to this point then continue on R7.)
R6 for a Preschooler to a child. Dc 1 in each 11 stitches, then dc 2 in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern all the way around. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2.
R6. Dc 1 in each 4 stitches, then dc 2 in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern all the way around. Change color, join with a slip stitch into the first dc, chain 2.
R7 - R15. Dc in each stitches all the way around. For a toddler up to round 12 only. For a preschooler or a child up to round 13. And for an adult round 15. You must change color in every round. Then proceed all sizes to R16 for the band of the beanie.
R16. Chain 1, hdc in each stitches all the way around. Now on this round you don't need to change color anymore. We will now be making the band of the beanie in the same color as round 16.
R17. Chain 2, bpdc in the first stitch, fpdc in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern all the way around, then join with a sl st in first stitch of the round.
R18-R19. Repeat R17.
Here's a good tutorial from Tamara on Mooglyblog.com on how to make post stitches.
R20. Slip stitch each stitch all the way around. Then fasten off and weave all ends.
This hat is for the toddler
For Preschooler - Child
Young Adult - Adult
That's how easy this beanie is. And it is fast to make also. A good project to practice your skills in crochet
