Holiday Coasters

Wow 6 more weeks and it's Christmas already. Many of my neighbors have decorated their houses with Christmas decors already. I see so many beautiful twinkling lights along the streets. Christmas lights fascinate me so much. I love the blinking and the colors and how they danced in the cold nights.  Although we don't decorate much during Christmas Seasons, I still love the feeling of Christmas. That only season of the year that almost everyone around the world is feeling generous and loving towards each other, even to the strangers in the way.

This is not actually my first post/pattern with a Christmas or Holidays theme. I posted this Holiday Hat last month. There might be a couple more of patterns that I am going to post with the Christmas theme.

These Christmas Coasters are very easy and quick to make. It's a good yarn stash buster also. After you make all those Christmas Projects, and I am sure there will some leftover yarns that are red and green and white. These coasters are great for them to make.

SC 1 in each of the next 3 stitches*. Repeat all the way around and break yarn and make an invisible join in the first SC, or you can join with a slip stitch in first SC. Fasten off and weave all ends. (16 picots)

It's the right time of the year to start making things for the coming Christmas and you can start with this simple coasters.
